A.1., created in 1777, is one of Kraft's oldest brands. Legend has it that A.1. steak sauce was originally developed by Henderson William Brand, chef to England's King George IV, as a special sauce for the royal table. Over the years, A.1. became so popular as a steak sauce that we also introduced A.1. marinades.
