The TASSIMO Hot Beverage System: What More Could You Wish For This Holiday Season?

New Coffee and Tea Varieties Make Unique Five in One Beverage Maker
A Must Have for Everyone on your List

July 23, 2007 -- Not sure what to buy for the choosy person on your holiday list? How about five gifts in one? With so many flavour options, The TASSIMO hot beverage system makes gift-giving easy and delicious – all with the touch of a button! This holiday season, TASSIMO increases its offerings with the introduction of five new flavours of T DISCs; Maxwell House French Vanilla and French Roast Coffees, Gevalia Decaffeinated Cappuccino, Twinings Green Tea and Twinings Chai Latte.

A year ago, Canadian coffee-lovers were introduced to TASSIMO; the convenient, affordable appliance that takes the guesswork out of creating café-style beverages and turns you into an expert barista, without having to leave your kitchen. Since its introduction, Tassimo has taken the Canadian market by storm, becoming the number one espresso/cappuccino machine in the country and among the top ten most requested items on the Hudson’s Bay gift registry (Canada’s largest gift registry).

Simplify Your Life – One Cup at a Time
“Whether you entertain at home, are part of a family with different tastes or are always on the go, this revolutionary machine is the ultimate inclusion to your home or office,” says Bill Vandenbygaart, Marketing Director of TASSIMO.

From cappuccinos to tea and hot chocolate, anyone can make their drink of choice by inserting innovative, pre-measured TASSIMO T DISCs into the machine. Designed and developed by Kraft, and distributed by Braun, the TASSIMO uses ‘smart’ technology to prepare each beverage according to the barcode on the T DISC, ensuring that the proper amount of water and froth brews a perfect beverage, every time. What’s more, TASSIMO makes clean-up easy; with dishwasher-safe, functioning parts that snap in and out, and no messy coffee grinds to wipe away. What more could you wish for?

TASSIMO Adds Five Varieties to Beverage Roster
This holiday, TASSIMO expands its roster of hot beverages to 19 T DISC products with the launch of five new varieties:
