Three New Varieties of California Pizza Kitchen® Crispy Thin Crust Frozen Pizza Offer Real Restaurant Tastes at Home
GLENVIEW, Ill. (July 11, 2005) – Continuing to bring fanciful flavors and tasty toppings to the frozen pizza category, Kraft Pizza Company is expanding the popular California Pizza Kitchen® frozen pizza line with new Neapolitan-influenced offerings. Three new varieties of California Pizza Kitchen Crispy Thin Crust pizza bring pizza with a twist straight from the restaurants to kitchens across the country. The newest varieties boast the brand' s thinnest pizza crust ever and include the first nationally-available frozen white pizza.
Strongly influenced by the flavors and cuisine of Naples, Italy, the new California Pizza Kitchen Crispy Thin Crust pizzas start with very thin crusts and are topped with a blend of Italian cheeses, mouth-watering spices, chopped vegetables and succulent meats to provide an intense blend of flavors.

The three crisp and tasty varieties include:
- White Pizza: The first nationally-available frozen white pizza topped with spinach in garlic olive oil and shredded and fresh Mozzarella, Fontina, Romano and Parmesan cheeses
- Margherita: A tantalizing blend of chopped tomatoes, olive oil, basil and a balanced mix of shredded and fresh Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses
- Sicilian Recipe: Features sweet Italian sausage, Capicola ham, julienne salami, a light layer of spicy marinara sauce, basil and a mix of Mozzarella, Fontina and Parmesan cheeses
The White, Margherita and Sicilian Recipe pizzas join the already popular California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza line, which includes BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Sausage Pepperoni & Mushroom, Five Cheese and Tomato, Portobello Mixed Mushroom and Garlic Chicken.
California Pizza Kitchen Crispy Thin Crust pizzas may be found in grocery stores nationwide and have a suggested retail price of $5.19.
